This beauty produces a multitude of large and bold spikes of outward-facing blooms on sturdy stems. Dalmatian Purple's tubular flowers are lilac-purple with maroon spotted throats that bloom June-July. A self-seeding biennial, this foxglove is known to attract hummingbirds, long-tongued bees and butterflies but not deer or rabbits. Note that parts of this plant are toxic to humans and pets.
