Stephanotis floribunda / Madagascar Jasmine is an elegant, blooming indoor vine with an unforgettable fragrance. You'll love the star shaped flowers, well known for many appearances in wedding boutonniere's and corsages. A bright, indirect light is best for this flowering vine. Try an east facing window to avoid afternoon sun burn on the leaves. Keep consistent indoor temperatures between 70-74℉ while misting occasionally for enhanced humidity. Water when the top 1-2" of soil is dry. Allow excess water to drain out the bottom of the pot to avoid root rot. Water a little less during the winter months. When repotting Stephanotis use an organic, well-draining mix with perlite and orchid bark. This flowering vine likes a moist but well draining mix. Fertilize during the growing months every 2-4 weeks with a bloom booster fertilizer for optimum flowering. No need to fertilize during the winter months. To keep your climbing Stephanotis happy use a trellis or support and avoid moving once buds form to decrease bud drop. Slightly toxic when injested, Not Pet Friendly!
