This "rose" colored large-flowered clematis has a distinct reddish/purple color with yellow stems, which contrast spectacularly with the color of the sepals. Its flowers are 5-6" in diameter and bloom on both the previous season's stems and on current season's growth, giving it a flowering period from May to September. Pruning type 3. Plant in full to part sun. Grows to 10' tall. USDA Zone 4 hardy. Shade roots to keep soil cool and moist. Keep well-watered until established, then water weekly during dry spells.
