A collectable climbing houseplant with striking pink veins on pointed waxy leaves. Piper requires a warm room with indirect light, either morning or afternoon will work. Water when the soil dries out but don't let Piper stay dry for extended periods of time. The backs of the leaves may contain small clear crystals formed from Piper releasing sugars through tiny pores. These are part of Piper's natural way of oxidizing and will leave tiny black dots which can be gently brushed off with your fingers. If you see an excess amount of the crystals it is a sign that your Piper plant is getting too much light. *Toxic to pets.*
