A strong growing, sweetly scented groundcover for full sun to full shade. This is one of the few phlox species that can be successfully grown in the shade. Its dark green foliage and violet-blue blooms pair well with hostas, ferns, and spring bulbs in any site with moist, humus-rich soil. It grows to be 8-12" tall and 12-15" wide and is zone 3-9 hardy.
