Araucaria heterophylla also known as Norfolk Island Pine. Most popular during the holiday months as it's the only conifer houseplant we can grow in our climate. Easy to grow in cool conditions and bright, indirect light. Water regularly in spring to fall and sparingly in winter. Mist occasionally in the winter specifically if the room is heated and ventilate in the summer. Repot every 3-4 years in the spring but keep pot-bound to stay smaller. Can reach up to 5 feet. If having significant leaf drop & loss of lower branches it is either due too hot, dry air or drying out of soil. Toxic to cats.
