Native wildflower blooming in the spring with pink bud opening to true blue pendulous bells, all hanging from unique blue-green foliage. Excellent for the shady edges of ponds, streams, swamps and bogs. Plant them with other moisture loving shade plants. Virginia Bluebells make ideal cut flowers, excellent naturalizer, good for woodland areas and superb in borders and beds. Hardy to zones 2-9. Plant in moist soil in shade to partial sun with top of root 1" below soil line and 1 root per square foot. Keep the roots cool by mulching. Three bulbs per package.
