Huge 7-8", ruffled, lavender pink flowers with a cherry red eye are produced all over the densely compact, shrub-like clump of attractive midnight green foliage. Grows best in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. It leafs out late in spring but grows very quickly. Cut it down in spring before new growth appears.
