Velvety, 3 inch blooms lasting up to two months with proper care. Needs moist air, regular fertilizing, a bright location away from drafts and proper watering. Use tepid water and keep water off the leaves and flowers. After flowering, reduce watering and stop feeding. Allow to dry out when leaves turn yellow and store pot at about 50 degrees. Repot tuber in fresh soil in the spring - hollow side up with top of tuber level with the soil surface. Keep warm and a little dry until the leaves appear, then provide the recommended conditions for rebloom.
