Very free flowering. Pruning type 3 Clematis. 'Avant-Garde™' blooms July to September in full to part sun. Shade roots to keep soil cool and moist. Water 2-3 times per week until established, Water weekly during dry spells. Grows to 10' tall. USDA Zone 4 hardy.
