Microsorum diversifolium or commonly called Kangaroo Paw is an epiphytic fern with a low sprawling growth habit. This makes them great for low containers on coffee tables, shelves, desks or side tables and also hanging baskets. Kangaroo Paw Ferns prefer east or north-facing bright, indirect light but can be placed several feet away from south or west windows. Make sure to keep away from direct light as they will get sun burn on the leaves. Use a well-draining, organic potting mix and be sure to water when the soil drys to the touch. Drain the saucer to keep roots from sitting in water - this will prevent root rot.
