Small orchid-like flowers bloom atop and in the upper leaf axils of this charming perennial. This plant, which does best in very rich, moist soils, needs to be seem close-up to be fully appreciated so place it near paths or walkways. This variety has yellow-edged green leaves with purple flowers in the late summer to fall. Grows to be 14-18" tall and 20-24" wide in full sun to full shade and zones 4-9.
