A dusty rose-brown tomato that offers juicy, delicious sweetness with notes of complexity and intensity. The medium-sized slicer (fruits weigh up to 12 ounces) was introduced in 1991 by Craig LeHoullier, a Seed Savers Exchange member from North Carolina, from seed obtained from J.D. Green of Tennessee. Mr. Green claimed that he received seeds from a neighbor who said they'd been in his family fro about a hundred years, and were originally acquired from Cherokee Native Americans.
