This clematis has pink ruffly-edged petals with large burgundy-tipped anthers, a very pretty flower. It blooms from new stem, producing flowers from top to bottom of the clematis. Pruning type 3. Blooms May-July & August -September in part shade to shade. Grows 4-5' Tall. USDA Zone 4 Hardy. Shade roots to keep soil cool and moist. Keep well-watered until established, then water weekly during dry spells.
