Rhaphidophora is a fast growing tropical vine native to Thailand or Malaysia featuring small heart shaped leaves with large fenestrations. Sometimes referred to as Philodendron Monstera Minima but actually not a true Philodendron or Monstera. Mini Monstera is a delicate, lovely vine that will need a moss pole for support. Provide bright, indirect light from an east or west window or grow lights. More vigorous growth, better variegation, and a more compact shape with better light. . Water when the soil is dry 1-2" below the surface. Water thoroughly then let the water drain completely before putting the plant back. . Rhaphidophora needs extra humidity - 40-60% for optimum growth. Group several plants together and use a humidifier or mist regularly. Protect from sustained temperatures below 65. Keep away from drafty locations and chilly windows in the winter. Use a well-draining potting mix for aroid plants. Fertilize during the growing season with an all-purpose houseplant fertilizer. .
