These beautiful papery, brightly colored flowers are a favorite among cut flower enthusiasts everywhere! You can grow them indoors near a west or south facing windowsill, or under a grow light as they need lots of light for proper blooming. Watering can be tricky - they need the soil to be evenly moist. Make sure to use your finger each week to check the soil moisture. Overwatering and underwatering will negatively affect the plant. After they are done flowering (summer) the leaves will turn yellow and wither away, this is a sign of dormancy. Let the bulbs rest until the next season when they will sprout during favorable conditions.
