Philodendrons have been houseplants since Victorian times and they are increasingly becoming popular. Their ancestral home is the American tropical forests which is indirect sunlight and moist surroundings. Growing conditions: Keep out of direct sunlight. Prefers moderate light to shade. Water thoroughly and regularly in spring - summer. Keep soil moist in winter but not water logged. In winter surround pots with bowls of water for added humidity or mist leaves regularly. Can be repotted in the spring every 2-3 years. Sold in growers pot only. New containers are available separately and repotting is available upon request.
