This elegant, hardy, long-lived perennial requires little care and likes cold climates and clay soil. Fertilize in the spring and fall and water during dry spells. Tolerates full sun to part shade but shade decreases the blooms. This Itoh cultivar is vigorous, free-standing, and disease resistant. It produces a plethora of very large yellow flowers. It grows 30-36" tall and 24-36" wide in zone 4-8 and deadheading spent flowers may stimulate a rebloom.
