This melon was first offered in the Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook in 1983. The oval fruits are 9" long and weigh 4-7 pounds. Their sweet, orange flesh is very juicy with a full muskmelon flavor and a rather thick rind. It produces good crops under almost any conditions at Heritage Farm. the headquarters of SSE, located in northeast Iowa. 80-90 days
