Commonly known as the 'Turk's Cap Lily' this stunning hybrid exhibits upright stems shooting up to 3 feet in height. 'Sunny Morning' is a captivating variety of the martagon lily that brings exceptional beauty to any landscape design. With its striking lemon-yellow, downward-facing blooms adorned with distinctive brick-red spots and elegantly recurved petals forming the classic "Turk's cap" appearance, this lily creates a dramatic focal point in gardens. Capable of producing up to 40 blossoms per stem, the unique recurved petals on this beauty will definitely catch the eye! Preferring well-draining soil, 'Sunny Morning' can be situated in full sun to part-shade. Plant the top of the bulb 6" below the soil line and space the bulbs 10"-12" apart. After the ground freezes, apply a 2" layer of leaf mulch for winter protection. Note that 'Sunny Morning' may take a year or more to establish fully before flowering abundantly but these hardy plants will increase in vigor each year.
