Also known as Wax Plant, Hoya species are flowering houseplants and can be trained to climb up a trellis or trail over the container. New stems are bare until the fleshy, green leaves appear. Fragrant flower-heads appear between late spring and early fall. Do not disturb the plant once buds appear, remove the dead flowers and do not repot until it is unavoidable. Growing Conditions - Medium to high indirect light. Let soil dry between waterings. Prefers a warm, humid environment. Slightly toxic to pets. Sold in 4" or 6" growers pot. Can be transplanted into a new container upon request.
