An ornamental tree that becomes rounded with age. White flowers bloom in abundance in spring, followed by edible, sweet, purple-black fruit. Clean summer foliage turns a brilliant red in the fall. Prefers acidic soil, part to full sun, and grows 20-25' tall and 15' wide. Zone 3 hardy.
