Bright, direct indoor light - at least 6 hours per day. Water when the soil is completely dry then saturate until the water comes out of the drainage holes. Usually once every 2-3 weeks in the summer and less in the winter. Do not let the pot sit in standing water to prevent root rot. Average room temperatures and humidity will work well for Euphorbia firesticks. Use a succulent/cactus mix when repotting. Pencil Cactus have toxic sap to pets and humans. Wear protective gloves when pruning to avoid sap causing skin irritation. We love Firesticks for its low maintenance, easy care qualities plus the vibrant green, yellow and orange foliage!
