Echeveria 'Zorro' (Wright): A phenomenal ruffled Echeveria with a distinctive coloration. This dark rosette can show tones including deep burgundy, eggplant purple, and blue-grey with hot pink leaf margins. It is one of Dick Wright's frilly hybrids and has a cabbage-like ruffle to its leaves. This cultivar grows particularly large, reaching diameters up to 16.0" then growing tall on a bare stem. Fortunately, it takes well to regular "beheading" to keep it short. This plant is fully rooted in a 3.5" pot. Echeveria need bright sunlight to maintain their colors and compact rosette form. They will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light.
