Puffy, heart-shaped pink flowers hang from stems covered in grey-green, finely toothed foliage. This early spring bloomer compliments the shade garden and pairs well with Hosta, Astilbe and Ferns. Often thought of as a spring ephemeral as the bleeding heart will go dormant after flowering. Grows 1-3' tall and 2-3' wide. Hardiness zones 3-9. Toxic to people and pets.
