Also known as Hulless, Dwarf Rice, and Squirrel Tooth, the original Tom Thumb popcorn dates to the 1860s. This strain is the result of refinement made to the original variety by the late Professor Elwyn Meader of the University of New Hampshire. The dwarf 3 1/2' plants produce 1-2ears each that measure up to 4" long. This variety is well-suited to coastal and short-season gardens, where it bears reliably. 85-90 days.
