A Minnesota prairie native, this perennial has beautiful, bright yellow flowers that cover dense foliage in midsummer. It loves difficult, dry soils and sun, and is excellent for stabilizing dry sunny slopes, even sand dunes. H 2-3' x W 18-24". Zone 4-8 hardy.
