Choose the sunniest spot in your house or add a grow light during the winter months. Water sparingly with tepid water, look for the beginning signs of shriveling before watering. Repot annually when young, after that only repot when necessary in the spring and only go one size up from the existing pot. Give cacti plenty of fresh air in the growing season by opening windows, extra humidity is not required.
