False Aralia (Plerandra elegantissima) features deep burgundy, narrow, delicate serrated leafs in an umbrella shape. A unique plant for all plant collections! Leaf drop can occur if there are big changes in environmental conditions. Bright, indirect light - an east or south window is perfect. Water when top 1-2" of soil drys to the touch. Keep indoor temperatures between 65-85℉ with high humidity (over 50%). Avoid cold, drafty locations as False Aralia are sensitive to environmental changes. Repot with an organic, well-draining potting soil. Generally Pet Friendly but can cause stomach irritation if a large amount is ingested.
