Anthurium's add a touch of tropical oasis to your plant collection with the stunning variegated leaves and colorful flowers! Hookeri Variegata prefers bright, indirect light - try an east or north facing window. Avoid direct light to prevent sun scorch on the leaves by using a shear curtain on south or west facing windows. Use a well draining potting mix of coco coir, perlite and charcoal - be sure to keep the moisture level even but not soggy. Water when the top 1-2" drys to the touch. Create a tropical environment with warm temperatures, misting the leaves often, and set near a humidifier for optimum moisture. Be sure to keep away from drafty locations. Fertilize during the growing season every two weeks with a diluted organic, well balanced liquid fertilizer.
