An easy-to-grow ornamental with beautiful clusters of rosy purple, sterile flowers from mid to late summer excellent for cutting and drying. The bees and butterflies love the blooms, but the deer and rabbits avoid the foliage as Allium is an onion and chive relative. Grows 15-20" tall and 10-15" wide in full sun to part shade in zone 4-8. 2018 Perennial Plant of the Year.
