Grafted cactus are comprised of a 'rootstock' cactus and a 'scion' or the top of the cactus. To care for your grafted cactus, place in bright, indirect light - like a South facing window. You can also use grow lights for 12-14 hours to make sure the cactus receives sufficient light. Water the soil when the top 1" drys to the touch during the growing season and let the soil dry completely before watering in the dormant season. It's best to underwater than overwater! Only use a cactus fertilizer during the growing season and again less is more! Do not fertilize during the dormant season. These cacti will flower to enhance their unique appearance! Non-toxic to pets although can cause stomach irritation for dog's if ingested.
